Score: ✧✧✧✧❂ |
This Arneis Metodo Classico shows a brilliant golden yellow color and
nuances of straw yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The
nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with
hints of apple, plum and hazelnut followed by aromas of pear, yeast, bread
crust, hawthorn and praline. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose,
an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple,
plum and hazelnut. The base wine used for this Classic Method Arneis ages
in cask for 22 months and the ages in bottle for 2 years on its lees.
