Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
This wine shows a pale ruby red color and nuances of cherry red, moderate
transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean and pleasing aromas which
start with hints of cherry and raspberry followed by aromas of strawberry,
plum, cyclamen, rose, vanilla and licorice. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and pleasing
crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, good
tannins. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry and raspberry.
This Pinot Noir ages for about 12 months in cask followed by 5-10 months of
aging in bottle.
