Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Vigneto Monte Sant'Urbano shows an
intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. The
nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which
start with hints of blackberry, black cherry and plum followed by aromas of
violet, dried rose, vanilla, blueberry, tobacco, mace, menthol, chocolate,
leather, black pepper and licorice. The mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body,
intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is very persistent with
long flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum. A well made wine.

Speri dimostra sempre più la sua affidabilità in fatto di Amarone. Anche l'annata 2005 è emozionante e ricca. Sprigiona aromi fantastici di mora e prugna sui quali si affacciano eleganti effluvi di vaniglia, cioccolato e viola appassita.
L'assaggio mette in evidenza una notevole struttura. L'alcol fa la sua parte senza eccedere e i tannini sono levigati da una bella morbidezza. Il finale è lunghissimo e senza cedimenti. Bellissimo vino!

Ecco un bell'esempio di Amarone come piace a me! Un naso che rasenta la perfezione e ti puoi deliziare con bellissimi profumi di mora e frutti di bosco, una violetta precisa e suadente, speziatura da legno presente ma equilibrata. Sempre sulle caratteristiche terziarie, spicca un bellissimo cioccolato e tabacco che fa da contrappunto al balsamico del mentolo. Un vino da emozioni!
La bocca è piena e sapida, tannino forte ma già arrotondato con l'alcol che costruisce fine trame d'amore con l'astringenza. Davvero un bellissimo Amarone. Unica nota dolente il prezzo ma ne vale la pena.
