Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red,
little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas which start with hints of plum, black cherry and dried violet
followed by aromas of blackberry, tobacco, licorice, cocoa, vanilla and
hints of leather. In the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a
slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense
flavors, good tannins. The finish is persistent with good flavors of plum,
black cherry and blackberry. A well made wine. This Amarone ages for 24
months in cask followed by at least 4 months of aging in bottle.
